First works to come out of the shoe box rummaging. This letter was sent from Dudley and company to Harry Cohen of Walworth Surplus Store in 1960. It's the history and nostalgia that draws me in to this kind stuff. This letter head is particularly interesting. I love the art deco-ness of it all. I decided to see if this company still existed; but sadly this beautiful building is now a safe storage place.
I feel with this piece I am reminding people of what once existed, I want to celebrate this era.
