Portobello and the tatty shoebox

Yesterday I went to Portobello Market for the first time. It is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I also managed to find a tatty old shoebox full of treasures. Included in it is the history of a shop based in the east end of London. I am now the owner of the keys to the shop, tax documents, personal letters, cheques, beautiful letter-headed paper...

It's gonna be a project I can really get my teeth into! Work to follow soon.

I think I may be developing an obsession for sepia toned backgrounds.

Answers on a postcard........

New versions of the original zebra repeat. I am completely aware that I tend to add too much to a design and then cannot change it because I believe it to be finished. I need to gain control of my work and develop the ability to stand back and reflect. I hope these further images detail this. This last image is stripped down from the first try and I hope it is all the better for it.

Have been away, but recently I've got back on the saddle and getting to grips with Photoshop (argh). This is my first proper go. Beetles are definitely under rated!
